The Substance Use Specialist joins an ACT team to provide counseling, education, and case management for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Using trauma‑informed, harm‑reduction, and recovery‑oriented approaches, the specialist delivers individual, group, and family services, coordinates care with interdisciplinary team members, and supports participants in achieving recovery and life goals.
