About this role

The Summer Associate role in the Restructuring and Special Situations Group provides training and hands-on experience in financial restructuring, distressed finance, and strategic advisory transactions. Summer Associates work closely with senior bankers to develop financial models, analyze credit documents, and support complex deal processes including Chapter 11 reorganizations and capital raises. The position offers exposure to multi-party negotiations, client strategy sessions, and the full spectrum of restructuring issues.

Responsibilities

Build comprehensive financial models for restructuring transactions and capital raises
Analyze credit and legal governing documents to evaluate financial returns
Assist in preparing plan of reorganization and disclosure statement materials
