Summer Nurse Intern

The Summer Nurse Intern provides age-appropriate patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills. This role focuses on developing organizational and critical thinking abilities while working closely with the RN to act upon patient status data. The intern may perform basic tasks within the Nursing Technician scope as validated by the RN, but is prohibited from administering medications or performing tasks requiring a registered nurse license.
