Summer Nurse Intern

The Summer Nurse Intern provides age-appropriate patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, utilizing assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation skills. The role focuses on developing organizational and critical thinking abilities while working closely with the RN to act on patient data. Interns may perform basic tasks validated within the Nursing Technician scope but are prohibited from administering medications or performing tasks requiring an RN license.
