Summer Nurse Intern

The Summer Nurse Intern works under the direct supervision of an RN to provide age-appropriate patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role focuses on developing organizational and critical thinking skills by collaborating with the RN to act on patient data. The intern may perform basic tasks within their validated competency, excluding medication administration or IV fluid management.
