Summer Research Program Intern 2027, Electric Grid Communications Security, Energy Systems (Gr 47)

The Energy Systems Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory seeks a summer intern to strengthen the cybersecurity of the electric grid by characterizing technology solutions for securing Operational Technology networks. The intern will work within a multi-disciplinary team to design, implement, and conduct tests in a Hardware-In-the-Loop test facility, integrating zero trust vendor solutions and developing test harness software. The data and analysis produced will contribute to guidelines and recommendations for government sponsors.
