About this role

The Systems Engineer will own the electrical interconnect architecture and subsystem communications for a complex, high-performance optical system, contributing to all phases of the product development cycle. This role requires in-depth technical knowledge of electrical and electro-mechanical systems within a volume manufacturing environment. The engineer will lead multi-disciplinary team projects to successfully demonstrate results.

Responsibilities

Define system-level electrical interconnect architecture and subsystem communication protocols
Develop and maintain error and noise budgets for EMI/EMC and signal integrity
Troubleshoot complex system-level electrical and communication issues in manufacturing
