Teacher

Teachers are directly responsible to the building principal(s) for classroom instruction and supervision of students, leading them toward intellectual, physical, social, and career development. The role involves maintaining classroom discipline, adapting curriculum to meet individual student needs, and communicating with parents and staff regarding pupil progress. Teachers are also expected to participate in faculty committees, sponsor student activities, and maintain professional competence through in-service education.
