It investigates and exposes suffering, conducts rescue missions, provides veterinary care and operates sanctuaries (for example bear sanctuaries) to rehabilitate and protect animals in need. FOUR PAWS also runs campaigns, policy and public‑awareness work to end exploitation and secure long‑term improvements in animal welfare worldwide.
