About this role

As the Technical Lead of Evaluation Infrastructure at Nuro, you will drive the metrics framework, evaluation pipelines, and analysis products that convert simulation and on-road logs into high-fidelity signals for autonomy iteration. This role requires setting the technical bar for both heuristic and ML-based approaches while partnering with Product, Autonomy, and Safety teams to validate driverless deployment readiness.

Responsibilities

Build and own a unified metrics, evaluation, and validation platform
Drive technical bar for heuristic and ML-based metric quality
Mentor the Evaluation Infrastructure team and champion AI-native practices
Partner with cross-functional teams to execute evaluation strategy
Set technical vision for autonomy and safety-critical engineering
