Systems Engineer - Safety Methodologies

This role is a safety/systems engineering position responsible for defining and implementing safety framework methods that support driverless autonomy readiness decisions for Waabi’s autonomous trucking solution. The engineer will leverage high-fidelity simulation, real-world data, and generative AI to quantitatively ensure and validate system safety. The position involves building the evidence base for safe driverless operation and shaping safety benchmarks and methodologies in a rapidly evolving field. The role is based in North America with options for working from Waabi’s offices or remotely in the US and Canada.
