Telecommunicator

This non-sworn position involves performing tasks related to communications and records, often requiring independent judgment and the ability to function both as part of a team and independently. The role includes operating two-way radio equipment, managing the countywide emergency paging system, and handling the County phone system for emergency and non-emergency calls. The Telecommunicator is responsible for receiving calls for service, collecting information, evaluating response needs, and operating various systems like T.I.M.E and Computer Aided Dispatch to support law enforcement, EMS, and fire responders.
