Treatment Plant Operator Trainee

The Treatment Plant Operator Trainee position is an entry‑level role in the City of Abilene's water treatment division, focused on learning the operation of surface water treatment plants, chemical dosing, laboratory testing, and SCADA monitoring to produce potable water. The trainee will operate city vehicles, maintain records, and assist with minor repairs while working toward required water operator licensing.
