Acleddata
ACLED is seeking an entry-level Ukraine Researcher to collect, review, and manage political violence and protest data across Ukraine. The role involves coding events from news and security reports into an Excel template, ensuring data quality, and working with limited supervision. This fully remote consultancy requires a minimum of 25 hours per week and is open to nationals of any country.
ACLED (Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project) is an independent, impartial conflict-monitoring organization that collects real-time data on political violence and protests across all countries and territories. It compiles and publishes event-level datasets, maps, dashboards, and APIs covering armed clashes, demonstrations, and related incidents, alongside analytical products like the Conflict Index and regional watchlists. Researchers, policymakers, humanitarian actors, and media use ACLED’s data and analysis for crisis monitoring, forecasting, and evidence-based response. The project maintains a global research team and local networks to ensure comprehensive, up-to-date coverage.
