Unit Secretary

The Unit Secretary works under the direct supervision of a registered nurse to perform secretarial and receptionist duties that contribute to the smooth operation of the assigned unit. This role involves greeting and screening the public, recognizing potentially dangerous situations, and facilitating optimal patient flow. The position also includes coordinating diagnostic testing, maintaining supplies and equipment, and utilizing interpersonal skills to maximize customer service and safety.
