Utilization Management Coordinator I

The Utilization Management Coordinator I performs utilization management and care coordination duties for the NEMS MSO under the supervision of a physician or Registered Nurse. The role involves reviewing and processing referral and treatment authorization requests for inpatient and outpatient services while ensuring compliance with clinical guidelines. The coordinator also handles complex case reviews, provides customer service to providers and members, and stays current with healthcare regulations.
