The Utilization Management Nurse I, RN performs clinical reviews of authorization requests to determine medical necessity based on established criteria and regulatory requirements. This role conducts utilization review activities, escalates complex cases, and ensures compliance with CMS and state turnaround time requirements. The position operates on a hybrid schedule with three days onsite at the Huntington Beach or Monrovia office.
