About this role

This role focuses on creating variation simulation models that account for part and process variation, as well as part stiffness and structural compliance. The position partners with cross-functional teams to translate analysis results into robust design and manufacturing decisions, ensuring dimensional strategies meet customer needs while reducing waste and rework. The engineer will build 3D variation models, identify dimensional risks, and communicate recommended actions to product, manufacturing, and supplier teams.

Responsibilities

Create variation simulation models accounting for part and process variation
Build and run 3D variation models using approved engineering methods
Combine 3D variation simulation with traditional CAE analyses
