About this role

The Wellness Counselor Intern at Rocketship Public Schools provides school-based mental health services to general education elementary students across one to two campuses in the Bay Area. The role focuses on supporting students’ academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs within an inclusion model. The intern collaborates closely with school staff, special education teams, and families to promote positive learning environments and student well-being. This is a term-limited, site-based position aligned to the school-year calendar and supervised by the Manager of Wellness Counselors.
