Wound Care Nurse

The Wound Care Nurse assesses, monitors, treats, and documents residents' wounds and skin conditions to promote healing and prevent skin breakdown. This role collaborates with the Director of Nursing, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure quality care in compliance with facility policies and regulations. The position involves developing individualized treatment plans, educating residents and staff on wound prevention, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
