About this role

This role involves facilitating community partnerships, managing local program implementation, and supporting child protection initiatives in vulnerable areas. The position requires leading community planning, monitoring project progress, and integrating disaster risk reduction strategies while ensuring compliance with organizational policies. Candidates will work closely with local stakeholders to mobilize resources and enhance the well-being of children through participatory development approaches.

Responsibilities

Facilitate partnerships and networking among local stakeholders to mobilize resources for child well-being
Lead commune level planning activities and facilitate annual community review and planning sessions
Support communities and partners to develop and implement community based disaster preparedness plans
Strengthen children's participation and promote children's voice and leadership throughout program activities
Monitor and report on commune level project progress and support program quality self assessments

Skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in community development, social sciences, education, public health, agriculture, or related fieldsCertification in Project management (preferred)Training in community development, child protection, DMEAL, or participatory facilitation (preferred)Training in DRR/Climate Change Adaptation or safeguarding (desirable)Valid motorbike driving license
