Yard Switcher

This role is responsible for assisting in the routing, shipping, and tracking of inbound and outbound orders, including informing carriers for freight pick-up and ensuring appropriate shipment routing. The position involves moving trailers to designated docks, inspecting them for damage, and connecting or disconnecting tractors from trailers. During slower periods, the incumbent may also act as a back-up for the Warehouse Coordinator, assisting with warehouse functions such as forklift operation and data entry.
