Youth Peer Advocate

The Youth Peer Advocate role focuses on empowering young people aged 14-21 with social, emotional, medical, developmental, substance use, and/or behavioral challenges to find their voice, acquire new skills, and plan effectively with parents and service providers. The position involves using personal lived experience to mentor, support, and model constructive advocacy while working directly with children to increase skill levels and decrease challenging behaviors. Services are provided within the child's community to promote independence, inclusion, and quality of life.
