Youth Peer Advocate

The Youth Peer Advocate role focuses on empowering young people aged 14-21 with social, emotional, medical, developmental, substance use, and/or behavioral challenges to find their voice, acquire new skills, and plan effectively with parents and service providers. This position involves using personal lived experience to mentor, support, and model constructive advocacy for youth in their homes, schools, and communities. The advocate works to increase skill levels, decrease challenging behaviors, and promote independence, inclusion, and quality of life for the children served.
