Public Library of Science

PLOS (Public Library of Science) is a mission-driven, nonprofit open-access publisher dedicated to advancing open science, research integrity, and broad public access to research. It publishes a portfolio of peer-reviewed journals across the life and health sciences (including PLOS ONE, PLOS Biology, and PLOS Medicine) and champions policies like open data, reproducibility, and transparency in peer review. In addition to publishing, PLOS develops tools, advocacy, and institutional partnerships to lower barriers to sharing research, speed dissemination, and increase the societal impact of science.
