Stone Barns Center

Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture is a nonprofit farm and education center on a historic estate in Pocantico Hills, NY, dedicated to advancing regenerative agriculture and resilient local food systems. Through on‑farm research, farmer training, public education, and partnerships with chefs and food businesses (including the adjacent Blue Hill at Stone Barns), it demonstrates practices that build healthy soil, biodiversity, and humane animal husbandry. The Center runs a farmer training program, workshops, community initiatives, and market enterprises to help scale sustainable practices and connect consumers with where their food comes from. Its mission is to transform how we eat by promoting ecologically sound farming and equitable, locally based food systems.
