The Accounting Lead at Gauntlet serves as the operational backbone of the accounting function, overseeing core processes including month-end close, revenue and expense cycles, and digital asset accounting. The role partners closely with the Controller and CFO while managing external tax and audit relationships. It also includes supervising and mentoring a Senior Accountant and contributing to the company’s audit readiness and financial control environment. This position operates within a remote-first, DeFi-focused fintech organization managing substantial on-chain and off-chain assets.
