HoYoverse is seeking an Audio Designer to craft a coherent audio story for a game where narrative is discovered through both traditional cutscenes and emergent gameplay elements. The role involves collaborating with gameplay, narrative, and art teams to build audio functions and logic, while guiding in-house audio talent to elevate the overall audio experience. This position requires deep expertise in dynamic audio implementation and a strong understanding of how audio shapes the player's experience from branching or non-linear storylines.

Responsibilities

Co-create audio vision and implement dynamic audio systems in Wwise and UE5
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to identify narrative opportunities and propose audio solutions
Establish best practices for systemic audio design and mentor in-house audio talent
