Cadet State Trooper

This role prepares candidates for the July 2027 Academy by completing the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AZ P.O.S.T.) Basic Training Curriculum and other designated training to learn general duty police work. Upon successful completion of training and certification, the incumbent is reclassified to State Trooper and placed on an eligibility list for future vacancies. The position requires a willingness to accept assignments anywhere in the state of Arizona based on departmental needs.
