This recruitment establishes an eligibility list for current and future Cadet State Trooper vacancies statewide within the Arizona Department of Public Safety. Cadet State Troopers participate in the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AZ P.O.S.T.) Basic Training Curriculum to learn general duty police work and are reclassified to State Trooper upon successful completion and certification. Candidates must be willing to accept assignments anywhere in the state and successfully complete a written examination and physical fitness test.
