Collections Specialist

This role is responsible for the collection of delinquent loan accounts and related collection issues, including member negative share balances, MasterCard accounts, mortgage and home equity accounts, and consumer and small balance commercial loan accounts. The position requires maintaining accurate records, staying informed on state and federal laws regarding bankruptcy, collections, and repossessions, and managing relationships with outside vendors and attorneys. The specialist also handles repossession processes, sales proceeds distribution, and lien release coordination.
