Head Start Cook

The Head Start Cook prepares nutritious meals for enrolled children in compliance with CACFP requirements, ensuring proper food safety and sanitation standards are maintained. This role involves managing food inventories, handling supply requisitions, and accommodating special dietary needs for medical or allergy reasons. The position also includes participating in staff meetings, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting the Head Start program's recruitment and safety initiatives.
