The Hoist/Shaft Tender at Red Lake Madsen Mine is responsible for safely transporting personnel, equipment, and materials through the mine shaft during the development of a new underground operation. This safety-driven role essential to maintaining reliable vertical access, involves operating hoist systems from a control room, conducting routine inspections, and troubleshooting operational issues.
