About this role
The Independent Living Donor Advocate (ILDA) serves as an advocate and resource for living kidney donor candidates throughout referral, evaluation, surgery, and follow-up, ensuring their rights and best interests are protected. The ILDA supports informed, voluntary decision-making by addressing donor questions and concerns, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements from CMS, UNOS, and TJC. The position reports to Chaplaincy Program leadership within the transplant program.
