Interpreter

The Interpreter performs a wide variety of language interpretation activities on an assigned and as-needed basis for the Superior Courts of California and parties to proceedings. The role involves consecutive and simultaneous interpretation of courtroom proceedings, sight translation of documents, and interpreting for judges, attorneys, and the public. The position requires maintaining confidentiality, adhering to court policies, and accurately conveying meaning without editing or omitting information.
