About this role

Heron Power is seeking a part‑time IT Helpdesk Technician Intern to support onsite employees and engineering teams with hardware, software, networking, and printer issues. The intern will provide Level 1 support, configure and maintain equipment, assist with onboarding and offboarding, and help improve documentation and processes.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 help desk support via Jira, email, Teams, and in person
Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, desktops, NUCs, and other equipment
Maintain ticket, asset, inventory, and knowledge‑base records and document troubleshooting
