Lifeguard

This part-time position is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas while creating a positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. The role requires constant surveillance of the pool area, adherence to all safety rules and emergency procedures, and effective communication with members and staff. The employee will also perform equipment checks, chemical testing, and maintain accurate records as required by YMCA and state Health Department codes.
