Lifeguard

This role is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas while creating a positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. The position requires constant surveillance of the pool area, adherence to emergency procedures, and consistent application of safety rules and policies. The incumbent will also manage equipment checks, chemical testing, and accurate record-keeping in compliance with YMCA and state Health Department standards.
