Lifeguard

This role is responsible for maintaining safe swimming conditions in the pool, deck, and surrounding areas while creating a positive atmosphere that promotes member safety and engagement. The position requires active surveillance of the pool area, adherence to emergency procedures, and consistent application of safety rules and policies. The individual will also perform equipment checks, chemical testing, and maintain accurate records as required by the YMCA and state Health Department code.
