The Marketplace Economics Strategist at Rover will define and lead the company’s global marketplace economics strategy to support growth, competitiveness, and margin health. Based in Barcelona, this role focuses on designing pricing, commissions, and incentives that align provider success with new customer acquisition. The position partners closely with Product and Marketplace teams to ensure economic decisions support both pet owners and service providers. It also acts as the internal expert and advocate for marketplace economics, influencing senior leadership and shaping how Rover’s marketplace evolves globally.
