MDS Coordinator

The MDS Coordinator is responsible for managing the facility's Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring accurate completion of MDS assessments, and coordinating interdisciplinary care plans in compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves scheduling assessment reference dates, transmitting assessments to the QIES ASAP System, and serving as a primary resource for problem-solving related to payment systems and quality reporting. The position requires collaboration with health plans, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure insurance approvals and resident eligibility.
