Heritage Medical Associates
The Medical Assistant Float performs routine clerical, administrative, and clinical duties within the scope allowed for Tennessee state law. This position may be assigned to a specific clinic or float to various clinics based on business needs, requiring collaboration with physicians, providers, and team members. The role involves gathering clinical data, administering medications, conducting tests, and managing patient appointments and referrals. The Medical Assistant must maintain a clean work area, handle sterile instruments, and ensure compliance with HMA policies and accreditation agencies.
