About this role

The MRELA Advisor serves as the country-level technical focal point for Monitoring, Reporting, Evaluation, Learning and Adaptation for the Border Security Programme in Ethiopia. This role provides specialist leadership and day-to-day oversight of the programme's monitoring, reporting, evaluation, learning, accountability and adaptation systems. The Advisor ensures credible evidence is generated and used to manage programme performance, test the Theory of Change, and support timely adaptation.

Responsibilities

Lead MRELA system design and implementation for programme performance management
Coordinate evaluations, assessments, and research to test theory of change assumptions
Strengthen implementing partner MRELA capacity and ensure data quality standards

Skills

Qualifications

Master's degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, International Development, Public Policy, Research Methods or a related field
