Peer Mentor

This role provides encouragement, guidance, and lived-experience support to shelter residents to help them achieve personal goals, housing stability, and community reintegration. The position involves building supportive relationships, sharing appropriate personal experiences to inspire others, and offering informal guidance on life skills and recovery. It requires maintaining confidentiality, upholding appropriate boundaries, and collaborating with shelter staff to support resident progress.
