About this role
Warmline Suicide Prevention Peer Worker provides scheduled, non-clinical one-on-one phone support to people experiencing suicidal thoughts, suicide bereavement, or at risk, using lived experience to build connection and hope. The part-time role (20 hours/week) is office-based in Gympie, Emerald or Rockhampton and focuses on relationship-based empathy rather than crisis intervention or clinical counseling. The position is peer-led and values supervision, reflection, and collaborative team practice.
