About this role
Jefferson County is recruiting a Plans Examiner (I, II, or III) in the Building Safety Division to support implementation of the Wildfire Resiliency Code. This newly created, grant-funded position focuses on review of structural hardening requirements and public engagement related to wildfire resilience standards. The role is full-time (40 hours/week) and part of the county’s wildfire staffing efforts for 2026.
