Postdoctoral Fellow - Sodora Laboratory

The Sodora Laboratory at Seattle Children’s Research Institute is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to investigate how inflammatory events from viral infections lead to severe disease outcomes, focusing on HIV infection using a simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV) animal model. The role involves designing and performing experiments to evaluate an anti-inflammatory immunotherapy, analyzing immune cell populations and tissue changes, and mentoring students. The position is fully supported and part of a newly NIH-funded joint project.
