About this role

HPE is seeking a Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to support K-12 and Local Government customers in the Southern Texas region. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, this role partners with sales teams to design, present, and validate networking solutions across wired, wireless, security, and cloud-managed environments. The candidate drives technical aspects of the sales cycle, including proofs of concept and proposal development, while helping customers modernize their infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Design and present networking solutions aligned with customer business requirements
Lead customer demonstrations and proof-of-concept engagements to validate technologies
Qualify and advance networking opportunities throughout the full sales cycle
Participate in proposal development and support complex sales pursuits
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with channel partners
