Skillz is a mobile-first competitive gaming platform that connects millions of players through skill-based tournaments and head-to-head matches. It provides an SDK and backend services for game developers to add matchmaking, anti-cheat, leaderboards, payment processing and monetization (including cash-prize and virtual-currency competitions). Players use Skillz’s marketplace to discover and compete in casual and esports-style games for prizes, while developers monetize via entry fees, ads and in‑app purchases. The company positions itself as a turnkey “home of competition” for social and competitive mobile gaming.
