About this role

The Quality Control Manager leads manufacturing quality control activities across Cubic Integrated Supply Chain operations, building a proactive, data-driven organization to prevent customer escapes and reduce rework. The role involves developing risk-based inspection strategies, utilizing SAP ECC 6.0 for quality management, and driving problem-solving initiatives like 8D and FMEA to improve first-pass yield. This position requires close collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards and lead the development of quality personnel.

Responsibilities

Lead daily Quality Control operations including receiving and final inspection
Develop and manage risk-based inspection strategies aligned with product requirements
Drive problem solving for recurring defects using 8D and root cause analysis
Lead, coach, and develop inspectors and quality control personnel
Ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 standards and lead external audits
